As the UAE gears up for weather fluctuations, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) issues a forecast indicating heavy rainfall expected in Northern, Eastern, and coastal areas on Monday. Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Ajman, Al Ain, and certain parts of Abu Dhabi are likely to experience significant downpours, with even Jumeirah in Dubai possibly seeing some raindrops.
Today’s weather across the nation is poised to vary from partly cloudy to cloudy, with a chance of light to moderate rainfall. Residents can also anticipate a noticeable dip in temperatures as the day progresses.
Overnight and into Tuesday morning, humidity levels are anticipated to rise, potentially leading to fog or light fog formation in certain inland areas. Winds are expected to remain light to moderate, occasionally fresh, carrying blowing dust alongside the clouds.

Meanwhile, sea conditions are forecasted to be rough in the Arabian Gulf and moderate to rough in the Oman Sea.
Sunday evening already saw parts of the country experiencing rainfall as predicted by the Met Department, affecting regions like Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Abu Dhabi.
The prevailing weather conditions are attributed to a weak surface pressure system combined with the extension of an upper-level low-pressure system, resulting in increased cloudiness and precipitation.
In light of these forecasts, Abu Dhabi Police issued a stern advisory urging drivers to prioritize safety by exercising caution and refraining from unnecessary travel during periods of rainfall and turbulence.
Emphasizing adherence to speed limits and reduction rules, authorities underscored the importance of maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles, avoiding sudden braking, and reducing speed when navigating turns to prevent potential vehicle slippage.
Additionally, drivers are encouraged to pull over safely if visibility becomes compromised while on the road.
With weather conditions expected to persist, residents are urged to stay informed and exercise vigilance while commuting, ensuring safety remains paramount amidst the anticipated downpour.
