The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts a varied weather pattern across the UAE, with a potential for scattered rainfall and cooler temperatures, alongside gusts of wind possibly carrying dust particles.
While Dubai and Sharjah brace for overcast skies from this afternoon until Thursday morning, regions including Al Ain, Fujairah, and Ras Al Khaimah could experience heavy rainfall tonight and early tomorrow morning, according to the NCM.

The NCM indicates that daytime conditions will range from mostly clear to partly cloudy, with a likelihood of cloud formation over eastern areas by afternoon, potentially leading to rainfall and a drop in temperatures.
Expect scattered to moderate rainfall particularly in the northern and eastern emirates, with the lowest temperature recorded at 7.5°C in Jebel Jais, Ras Al Khaimah, during the early hours of the day.
Temperature ranges are forecasted to reach between 24°C and 28°C as maximums, with minimums falling between 11°C and 16°C. Coastal areas are expected to see highs of 22°C to 26°C, while mountainous regions may experience temperatures of 16°C to 20°C.
Additionally, the NCM warns of light to moderate winds potentially causing blowing dust and sand, with speeds ranging from 15-30 km/hr and possibly reaching 40 km/hr.
Humidity levels are set to be high, varying from 65% to 90% in internal areas and moderate at 45% to 80% in mountainous regions, with an expected increase during the night and Thursday morning. These humid conditions may lead to fog and mist formation, particularly over coastal and internal areas.
At sea, conditions are expected to be moderate to rough, becoming very rough at times in the Arabian Gulf by Thursday morning, while the Oman Sea will experience slight to moderate conditions.
Stay updated and prepared for changing weather conditions as the UAE experiences a diverse meteorological landscape in the coming days.
