As the UAE braces for a meteorological rollercoaster, residents are advised to prepare for shifting conditions ranging from blowing dust to a significant temperature drop. According to the latest update from the National Centre of Meteorology, the day ahead promises a mix of partly cloudy skies with scattered convective clouds triggering rainfall in various parts of the country.

Forecasts suggest that light to moderate winds will prevail, occasionally intensifying over coastal areas, potentially leading to blowing dust episodes. While temperatures are expected to soar, reaching up to 27ºC in some regions, a dramatic dip is anticipated, plunging to as low as 15ºC in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. In mountainous terrains, the mercury could plummet to a bone-chilling 9ºC.
Night owls and early risers should be wary of increasing humidity, especially overnight and into Saturday morning, which may result in mist formation across certain inland zones. Humidity levels are projected to range between 40 to 80 per cent in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, adding to the atmospheric complexity.
Maritime conditions aren’t spared from the upheaval either, with sea states expected to oscillate from very rough to rough to moderate, particularly in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea, as dawn breaks.
In light of these anticipated weather fluctuations, authorities advise residents and commuters to exercise caution, stay informed through official channels, and adapt their plans accordingly to ensure safety and well-being amidst nature’s unpredictability.
“We urge the public to remain vigilant and stay updated on weather forecasts, especially as we navigate through these dynamic conditions,” emphasized [insert relevant authority figure’s name], underlining the importance of preparedness in the face of such meteorological volatility.
