Rechel Hoco, a familiar face to many as ‘Rechel in Dubai,’ is set to represent Oriental Mindoro in the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2025 competition.

The announcement was made official during the coronation night of Miss Oriental Mindoro 2024, with Rechel herself confirming the news on her social media. Rechel, who was crowned Miss Oriental Mindoro back in 2019, shared her excitement and reflection on the milestone with a heartfelt post on Facebook.

“Wayback Wednesday: Five years ago today, I was crowned Miss Oriental Mindoro. It truly feels like yesterday!” Rechel wrote, highlighting the life-changing experiences she’s had since her initial win.

Looking ahead, she expressed eagerness for the journey, saying, “Now, I’m ready and excited to see what the universe has in store for me. The time is now!”
