Mikael Daez recently delighted fans by sharing candid prenuptial photos with his wife, Megan Young, on social media. Taken before their January 2020 wedding, the images captured the essence of their relationship, focusing on spontaneity and joy rather than traditional poses.

“For Bonez and I, we wanted photos that captured how we enjoyed a day when we travel. I posted a bunch of these photos years back, but I think this set is my favorite—it’s a more accurate depiction of our random moments as we rumble our way through life,” Mikael wrote, affectionately referring to Megan by her nickname. He humorously added that his favorite image is a playful shot where Megan checks his teeth for food residue, saying, “The ‘check my tinga’ photo is my life multiple times a week.”

Megan reshared Mikael’s post on her Instagram story, continuing the couple’s tradition of sharing sweet, relatable glimpses of their journey together.

The pair, who have been together for 13 years and married for four, frequently revisit moments from their past. Mikael fondly recalled the dusty yet heartfelt atmosphere of their Subic wedding. “January 25 was a very memorable day. What stands out the most was how dusty it was in Subic… Ako yata yung pinakamatinding natamaan. Pero in fairness, sarap ng tama. Nakaka-in love pala mapuwing,” he joked in a previous post featuring their emotional wedding moments.

Mikael also compiled a video of clips from their married life, some of which were filmed during lockdowns and periods of long-distance due to work. Using Megan’s favorite sentimental BTS track, he created what he described as his version of a “mixtape,” stitching together unused moments from their life together. “In fairness, ang dami pala naming nagawa kahit ang daming lockdown,” he remarked.

Earlier this year, the couple celebrated their anniversary with heartfelt messages. Megan expressed gratitude for their blessings and challenges, writing, “13 years so far of growing old together… I’m grateful that I always have you by my side.” Mikael added humor to his message, joking about the length of their relationship: “We’ve been together so long, we don’t know the exact time anymore. You just mentioned 13 years in your post, pero sa bilang ko 14 years. Sabayan na lang kita sa gusto mo.”
