MANILA, Philippines — Andrea Brillantes, Kapamilya star and recently crowned TC Candler’s “Most Beautiful Woman in the World,” revealed she’s ready to explore love again after spending time healing and focusing on herself.

Speaking at the Star Magic Spotlight press conference, Andrea was asked about potential suitors following her recognition for her beauty. The actress candidly admitted that she’s had admirers but hasn’t prioritized dating in the past year.

“Before naman akong i-announce na Most Beautiful, mayroon naman po talaga [suitors],” Andrea shared. “Pero hindi talaga kasi ako nakaka-focus doon… inaamin ko ‘yon sa kanila na parang, ‘Sorry, pero I don’t really date o like ganyan ‘yung hinahanap ko.’”

While hesitant before, Andrea now feels she’s ready to welcome love into her life again.

“Sabi ko din naman kasi, ‘yung nagdarasal ako kay Lord, may prayers ako na, ‘Lord, actually I think na nakapag-heal na ako… not hundred percent because nobody has [been a] hundred percent healed,’” she reflected.

Andrea noted significant growth since last year but acknowledged lingering uncertainties. “At the same time, what if I’m just being isolated? Na parang lumalayo lang ako pero ang totoo pala is hindi pa ako nakakapag-heal. So, sabi ko, ‘Lord, I don’t know, but maybe I can [find love] kung may darating or what.’”

She emphasized that her approach to relationships moving forward will be intentional. “Let’s see. I’m open naman to it, pero I want to be intentional with it,” she added.

Andrea’s last public relationship was with basketball player Ricci Rivero, which ended in June 2023 after dating since 2022.

With personal growth and new opportunities ahead, the young actress appears ready to embrace the possibilities of love once more.
