MANILA, Philippines – Filipino girl group BINI turned up the excitement at the BINIverse World Tour kickoff in the Philippine Arena, giving their fans—fondly called Blooms—an unexpected dose of kilig by showcasing their original “ships” during their performances of Kinikilig and Golden Arrow.
The eight-member group leaned into fan culture, playfully acting out their most beloved pairings, sending the crowd into a frenzy. BINI’s four official “ships” include JhoCey (Jhoanna and Stacey), MaColet (Maloi and Colet), MikhAiah (Mikha and Aiah), and Hambebe (Gwen and Sheena).

The energy peaked during the members’ ment (a segment where idols freely talk to the audience), with fans loudly cheering for the MikhAiah tandem. Jhoanna couldn’t resist teasing the crowd, leading the girls in an impromptu a cappella version of Kinikilig before turning to Mikha and Aiah.
“Sige na, MikhAiah, pagbigyan niyo na sila. O sige sabay-sabay, MikhAiah ka ba?” she prompted, making fans scream even louder.
Stacey joined in on the fun, jokingly calling out the crowd for seemingly favoring one pair over another.
“Ayaw niyo ng JhoCey? Bakit ‘di niyo pinapansin ‘yung JhoCey? Kayo ha, bias kayo. Nag-kiss na kami ni Jho,” she teased, much to the delight of Blooms.
Beyond the playful onstage moments, BINI treated fans to a diverse setlist, performing tracks from their debut album Born to Win, including Golden Arrow and Here With You. Their 2024 hit Blooming also made an appearance, along with the highly anticipated stage debut of their latest single, Blink Twice.
The BINIverse World Tour kicked off on February 15 and will make its way to international stages, with stops in Dubai, London, and New York, among others. Adding to the excitement, the group is set to drop their upcoming extended play (EP) BINIverse on February 27, featuring Cherry on Top, Zero Pressure, Out of My Head, and Secrets—a collaboration with former DAY6 member Jae Park, also known as eaJ.
With electrifying performances and a growing global reach, BINI continues to prove why they are the nation’s girl group to watch.
