Actress-turned-vlogger Kristel Fulgar is officially engaged to her Korean partner, Ha Su-hyuk, after a surprise proposal that brought her to tears. In her latest vlog, she shared behind-the-scenes moments of how her now-fiancé orchestrated the heartfelt event with the help of their closest family and friends.

Kristel first introduced Ha Su-hyuk as her boyfriend in 2024, revealing that he was her first and only relationship. She previously shared how she prayed to meet “the one” and had always hoped that her first boyfriend would also be her last.

The vlog captured Ha Su-hyuk preparing for the big moment, from selecting flowers to inflating balloons, all while expressing his deep commitment to Kristel. “I have a lot of promises with her. A very important promise I made to her is that I’ll never give up on her. I’ll never change how I treat her—it’s very easy for me,” he said.

Set on a rooftop, the proposal was designed so Kristel would be the last to arrive, making the reveal even more emotional. Overcome with feelings, Ha Su-hyuk admitted he hadn’t prepared a speech but spoke straight from the heart.

“I always knew that my baba will be the last woman I would love… If it weren’t because of you, I wouldn’t know how I would live,” he shared. “You will be my last love… You will be the only one I want to love forever. Also, I want to have a happy family with you.”

With barely a moment’s hesitation, Kristel said “yes,” sealing the engagement with a romantic kiss as their loved ones cheered.

Kristel had previously opened up about how she had waited for the right person, sharing, “Sobrang worth the wait lahat ng bagay. Hindi ko pinagsisihan na siya ‘yung first boyfriend ko at 29 years old… gusto ko ‘yung first boyfriend ko, siya rin ‘yung maging last ko.”
