Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes has revealed that she is now dating, following two years of being single.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the young star clarified that while she is currently seeing someone, she is not rushing into a serious relationship.

“Sinabi ko naman na open ako sa pagde-date kasi two years na rin naman akong walang boyfriend,” Brillantes shared. “Naloloka ako kasi ang daming nagsasabi na bakit may boyfriend na raw ako agad. I’m just dating.”

Brillantes confirmed that she is currently seeing Sam Fernandez, a former high school basketball player from San Beda University.

“He’s a private person. Non-showbiz siya,” she said, emphasizing that Fernandez is no longer active in the sport.

When MJ Felipe asked if Fernandez was the one who recently sent her a grand floral arrangement, Brillantes simply replied, “Yes.”

“I’ve known him for a while. We’ve been friends for many, many years,” she added.

Prior to this, Brillantes was in a relationship with basketball player Ricci Rivero from 2022 to 2023.
