Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo is embracing vulnerability as she approaches her 29th birthday, admitting she is once again experiencing a sense of uncertainty about the future.
During the media conference for the upcoming season of Pilipinas Got Talent, where she was introduced as one of the new judges, Kathryn spoke about the emotional challenges she faces as she transitions into another stage of her life.

“I’m turning 29 in a few days. I’m at the point in my life again wherein I feel so lost. I felt this, I remember, when I gave a message for the thanksgiving party of The Hows of Us–– this was the same feeling,” she shared.
The award-winning actress admitted that she didn’t expect to feel this way again but recognizes it as part of “adulting and growing.” Despite her fears, she remains determined to push forward.
“To be honest, I’m so scared, I’m so lost, but I think it’s so brave that every day I show up, just like what Donny [Pangilinan] said earlier. I show up and I choose to grow and accept all the uncertainties,” she said.
Kathryn believes that what she is experiencing could be birthday blues or even a quarter-life crisis, but she is choosing to be open about her emotions rather than suppress them.
“Parang, what’s next for me? Parang I’m feeling all these emotions. Feeling ko, it’s just brave na tinanggap ko yun–– I’m allowing myself to be vulnerable… I have my days and hindi ko na yun tinatago sa mga tao,” she admitted.
As part of her personal growth, Kathryn also revealed that she is in a major transition period—moving into her own place. While she acknowledged that it was not an easy decision, she believes it is a necessary step toward self-discovery.
“I’d like to call this my transition stage. Feeling ko kasi in the next coming years it’s very, very important kasi yun yung magdidictate kung saan ako sa future,” she explained.
Despite her apprehensions, Kathryn is embracing this new journey with an open heart.
“It’s my way of getting to know myself more and growing. Yes, I’m scared–– I don’t know what would happen. I don’t know if I could do it, but I’m just very open and I’m here for growth. So wish me luck in the coming months,” she said.
Fans can catch Kathryn in Pilipinas Got Talent, airing on March 29 and 30, where she will be joined on the judging panel by Eugene Domingo, Donny Pangilinan, and Freddie “FMG” Reyes.
