MANILA — The much-anticipated love team of JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith, dubbed “JMFyang,” will make its official debut in the upcoming Kapamilya digital series Ghosting, marking a significant milestone for the PBB Gen 11 housemates.

During the series’ media launch held in Quezon City, Ibarra shared his overwhelming excitement about the project, calling it a long-time dream come true.

“Wala ako ibang nafe-feel ngayon kundi excitement. Gusto ko na simulan. Matagal na namin pinangarap ‘to,” he said.

Smith echoed his sentiment, admitting that while there’s pressure, her enthusiasm outweighs everything else.

“Super nakaka-excite na gagawin na namin ‘to. May pressure of course, pero walang pag-alinlangan,” she said.

Ibarra added that he’s eager to learn behind-the-scenes production work, noting his excitement to understand how the entire team functions.

Joining the lead duo are Vivoree, Gelo Marquez, and Kobe Brown, who will portray another romantic interest for Smith’s character, forming a love triangle in the story.

Brown admitted to some initial nerves about joining the love team dynamic, especially during their promotional photoshoot.

“Kanina nag-photo shoot kami and I was taking photos with Fyang, and JM was watching. I asked, ‘OK lang ba to?’ I’m nervous but also excited. I just want to do well and entertain the fans,” he said.

Despite the love triangle element, Ibarra said he has no issues with Smith filming affectionate scenes with another co-star.

“Wala naman problema. Andito kami sa ganitong industriya, trabaho ‘to. Basta ako, suporta lang,” he said.

Brown praised Ibarra for being professional and respectful on set.

“Cool ni JM. He is very respectful and hardworking,” Brown added.

Smith, who was recently named PBB Gen 11 Big Winner, shared that even after spending so much time with Ibarra, she still feels kilig during sweet moments—particularly during their couple-themed poses at the shoot.

“Meron pa rin kilig,” she confessed with a smile.

As Ghosting prepares for its digital release, fans can look forward to seeing the “JMFyang” chemistry unfold on-screen in their official love team launch.
