MANILA, Philippines — Minsung, the nephew of Blackpink member Jisoo, is set to begin a new academic chapter in the Philippines, as revealed by Jisoo’s sister, Ji-yoon, through a touching social media post.

On Instagram, Ji-yoon shared a photo of her young son at the airport, ready to depart for the Philippines. “Have a good time studying in the Philippines, Minsung,” she wrote in the caption, accompanied by a plane emoji, heart sign, and the Philippine flag.

She also posted a tender photo of Minsung hugging his father just before heading into the airport, offering followers a glimpse of the emotional send-off.

Ji-yoon, a former flight attendant, left her airline career after giving birth to her two children. She has since transitioned into becoming a lifestyle influencer, frequently sharing family updates and moments from their personal life.

This new development comes months after Jisoo held her first solo fan meet in the Philippines last March, delighting Filipino Blinks. Fans can also look forward to seeing Jisoo again later this year, as she joins Lisa, Jennie, and Rosé for Blackpink’s upcoming concert at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan this November.
