Barbie Forteza welcomed her 28th birthday in style, sharing a series of charming photos from a cozy, café-inspired photoshoot on her Instagram. The Kapuso Primetime Princess kept her caption simple yet meaningful: “So this is 28. I like it.”

The post quickly drew well wishes from fans and fellow celebrities alike. Kyline Alcantara, Barbie’s co-star in the ongoing GMA series Beauty Empire, shared a sweet birthday message alongside a video of Barbie blowing candles on two birthday cakes. “Happy birthday mare ko! Mahal na mahal na mahal na mahal kita,” Kyline wrote.

Actor Kristoffer Martin also greeted Barbie through an Instagram Story that showed a candid moment of the two running alongside Alden Richards. “Happy birthday frenemy! Basta happy ka, happy kami,” he said.

Earlier this month, Barbie chose to celebrate her birthday in advance by spending time with children at the Child Haus Foundation, a non-profit that supports young cancer patients.

Barbie currently stars in Beauty Empire, which airs Monday to Thursday at 9:35 p.m. on GMA Network and is also streaming on Viu. The series features an ensemble cast including Kyline Alcantara, Ruffa Gutierrez, and South Korean actor Choi Bo Min.
