MANILA, Philippines — Actress and comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto has confirmed the passing of her husband, Trevor Magallanes, and requested the public to avoid circulating unverified information regarding his death.

In an Instagram post shared today, Quinto expressed deep sadness over the loss of her husband and emphasized that his family is still in the process of confirming the details surrounding his death. She asked friends and the public to wait for an official statement from her or Trevor’s family.
“We kindly ask his friends or anyone to stop spreading fake news or mere speculations about his death. I am flying tomorrow for the United States with my daughter. So, please wait for the official announcement surrounding his death from me and his family only and not from any other source,” Quinto wrote.
Quinto and her daughter, Athena, will be traveling to the United States, where Magallanes was based.
The couple married in 2016 and welcomed Athena in 2017. In May, Quinto had opened up about “moving on” from her relationship with Magallanes, acknowledging that they had been experiencing challenges since the previous year.
