MANILA — Comedian Ate Gay joyfully announced that he has officially completed his chemotherapy treatment for stage 4 cancer, marking a major milestone in his recovery journey.

“Yeheyyy! Nalagpasan ko ang pagduduwal, walang panlasa… now nakakain na ng bongga. Graduate na ako sa chemo,” Ate Gay wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday, November 4.
Born Gild Aducal Morales, the comedian expressed deep gratitude to everyone who has been praying and supporting him throughout his months-long battle with cancer.
Following the completion of his chemotherapy, Ate Gay said he will next undergo radiation and immunotherapy as part of his continued treatment.
The well-loved comedian, known for his uncanny impersonations of the late superstar Nora Aunor, first revealed his stage 4 cancer diagnosis in an emotional interview with Jessica Soho last September.
Just last month, Ate Gay shared a hopeful update that the lump on his neck had almost disappeared. He also expressed appreciation for the benefactor who helped him begin his treatment through Gabay Guro, where he had previously performed.
